Classroom Challenge

To better forecast the volume of translators needed to serve urban populations, AMIS student researchers reviewed the latest immigration trends in the United States. The students developed a demographic forecast for Affordable Language Services, estimating the need for translators per immigrant and nationality types. This curriculum allows kids to experience the decision-making processes of an entrepreneur — applying skillsets they learn in the classroom.
